During his visit to IPRC Huye, IPRC Kitabi and IPRC Karongi, the Vice Chancellor of Rwanda Polytechnic, Dr. James GASHUMBA emphasized that staff and students should be characterized by having Discipline, Integrity and Hard work to realize their dreams

The visit started by IPRC Huye on Wednesday 23 May 2018, IPRC Kitabi on 24th and ends by visiting IPRC Karongi on 25th May 2018 where he was received by officials headed by respective Principals who paid him an enthusiastic welcome.

Throughout his visits, the Vice Chancellor toured the campuses and appreciated all institutional development, innovation projects of the students and witnessed challenges that IPRCs are facing in their daily activities and promised them to advocate for viable solutions.

Addressing staff and students, the RP Vice chancellor encouraged them to set goals and have self-confidence. He said, “I want to inspire you to create dreams in you and believe in you. To reach where you want, you should have discipline, integrity and hard work”.

Students and Staff have promised the Vice chancellor to strive towards RP Vision which is “To provide quality education that complies with applicable standards through vocational education that enables beneficiary to acquire skills required to create jobs and compete in the labor market”.
